UFC Betting - Edgar-Maynard III On Tap For UFC 130 Odds

UFC Betting - Edgar-Maynard III On Tap For UFC 130 Odds - If you're a Super Bowl betting player, you'll get a treat this weekend as there are divisional rivalry games in the AFC between teams looking to settle the score in a rubber match. In the UFC, Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard fought to a draw in their second UFC Picks meeting, and while it's not a true rubber match, the third bout between these two warriors still works as a rivalry, and Dana White is aiming to get them back in the octagon as soon as possible.

There are rumors that Edgar-Maynard III could happen at UFC 130 on May 28th in Las Vegas, but the match is still on hold because of a broken nose suffered by Edgar in the second match, and it probably happened in the first round when Maynard almost stopped the fight with punches and takedowns. If it did happen in the first round, that is even more of a testament to the heart of Edgar, the reigning lightweight champion, because there is no way he should have made it out of that round. Maynard punched himself out and had to scale it back a bit for the rest of the fight, which gave Edgar time to regain his senses, and Edgar actually ended up doubling Maynard in power punches over the rest of the fight. The fight was well worth the price per head for anyone who went to the fight or watched on pay-per-view, as it was an excellent way to spend New Years Day.

Again, another comparison that UFC betting Odds players can draw with those betting on NFL is injuries, which will play a big role this weekend. Edgar is on medical suspension because of his broken nose, and that is supposed to last until July 1st, but if he is medically cleared, he will be able to get back in the octagon, but you also have to factor in a training camp for these two. You can rush them through the training camp because they're fighting for a title belt, and if you want a fight as good as the first two, they need to take their time. Maynard dominated the first fight with his wrestling, and he added some great striking for the second fight, and that was where Edgar was supposed to have the edge. Edgar actually did win that part of the fight, but that first round showed that Maynard could definitely stand with him. This would be the main event of what could be an exciting card as there are also rumored fights featuring Clay Guida and Anthony Pettis, who was supposed to get a title shot at the winner of Edgar-Maynard II. There are also rumors of Frank Mir-Roy Nelson and Quinton Jackson-Thiago Silva. After the second fight, expect the UFC lines to be close in your online sportsbook. UFC Picks Maynard
