2011 NFC Championship Predictions & Sports Betting Odds

2011 NFC Championship Predictions & Sports Betting Odds - Green Bay Advances to NFC Title Game, All week, the talk was about quarterback Matt Ryan and his 13-3 Atlanta Falcons but it was the quarterback from Wisconsin (via Cal) that stole the show. After this week win they will go on the road to face the Bears in a NFC Championship Predictions game this weekend.

Aaron Rodgers completed 31 of 36 passes and the Green Bay Packers defeated the Falcons in the Georgia Dome 48-21.

Rodgers was almost unstoppable with 366 yards passing, three touchdowns, and a passer rating of 136.8, almost perfect. For good measure, he also ran for a touchdown. He was particularly effective in the second quarter when the Packers racked up 28 points, with two TD passes, and TD drives. NFC Championship Sports Betting Odds have Green Bay Packers -3.5 favorites on the road.

As for Matt Ryan, he completed 20 of 29 but for only 186 yards and one touchdown. He committed two costly turnovers, including a pick-6 near the end of the first half. Green Bay also sacked Ryan five times, including two from Clay Matthews, Jr. as the Packers showed why they were a top 5 defense in the NFL.

For Atlanta, the loss was a huge disappointment. As the number one seed in the NFC, they had secured home field throughout the playoffs and were set up for a good playoff run. Turns out the run lasted just one game. Not only could Atlanta not stop Green Bay but they couldn’t get anything going in the running game or on offense. Early 2011 NFC Championship Predictions play Bet on Green Bay Packers.
